The original don and literal trademark holder of “Summertime All The Time” is back with another tropical masterpiece. Viceroy introduced the world to these sounds, and he continues to carry a torch for all things sax-infused. ”Back At The Start” is a mid-tempo track with the enlisted help of K. Flay. The saxophone solo intertwined with the chorus sections is just about as good as it gets, bouncing atop the head-bobbing bass line. As Summer approaches, you know Viceroy has been supplementing his arsenal for some epic dance parties. Make sure you make it out to one of his upcoming shows.
Norwegian producer, Bearson, has been quickly evolving his music since his debut in 2014. Starting his career vested in Tropical House, the young producer decided to go down a new path in 2015. Hot off the heels of his debut original “Pink Medicine”, Bearson is shaking things up again with his latest remix of Ghost Loft’s track “Talk To Me”. The remix starts soft and ambient and segues into a groovy, uplifting melody accompanied by piano keys, heavenly synths and hints of his signature Tropical sound. Transporting us back to a warmer time, Bearson’s remix of “Talk To Me” takes the slow, heartbreak song and transforms it into a little bit of sunshine. We’re anticipating great things from the producer this year. Be sure to grab your Free Download here, enjoy!
Matt DiMona returns with another Feel Good House remix of Maroon 5’s iconic hit “She Will Be Loved”. By effortlessly weaving catchy chords with a thumping house beat, DiMona successfully reinvents the timeless sing-along with his signature indie house sound. Grab the free download here!
“She Will Be Loved” is one of my all time favorite throwback pop guilty pleasures, and when I found the acapella online I knew I had to remix it. I’m a sucker for massive, hands-in-the-air chords, and when I paired them with some slow but groovy house beats (as well as some cheeky rain noise to coincide with the lyrics) I came up with a really interesting blend of sounds. Play this at your next pool party and belt out that hook- I know you know the words! – Matt DiMona
Continuing today in the season of giving, we have for you yet another FREE download from the likes of up and comers Good Life. Fans of Booka Shade, Thomas Jack and French Express will be all over this one – listen
Chicago natives Autograf have the answer to your Monday blues… the second installment of their Future Nites series is their vibe-driven remix of Christina Perri’s “Burning Gold”. Amongst a very competitive remix package, Autograf successfully holds their own with a downtempo groove and melodic chords that play along the haunting vocals of the original. Listen to what the boys had to say, and listen below:
“We were feeling a Future Indie vibe on this one inspired by the work we’ve been putting into developing our live show. Our vision is for a harmonious blend of electronic synthesis with real organic instrumentation. And that’s what we were striving for on this song, just some good Future Beats for Issue 2 of our new “Future Nites” series…”
It’s no mystery that Calvin Harris created another hit in his radio single “Blame”, but Chicago-based Good Life have taken the chart-topper and given it the deeper transformation it needed. The pop vocals of John Newman get covered into a down-tempo Tropical house vibe, leaving the track stripped of its big room energy and into a dark and sexier tone. Spreading their “Good Life” mantra, they offer it for FREE DOWNLOAD, and here’s what they had to say:
“Sometimes you make decisions that feel so necessary and so right in that moment you don’t realize that you’re making a huge mistake. That’s what this song is about. It’s about being so caught up in the night and what you’re doing that you completely forget that your actions will linger when the sun comes up. And the only explanation you have is the fact that the night just simply took over.”
Good People + Good Vibes = Good Life

The ever-growing popularity of Tropical House doesn’t end when the leaves start falling and snow joins the party. Far from it. The sultry vibes of clean marimba and steel drums will keep Summer alive forever. Felix Jaehn knows this all too well.
