The NY-based powerhouse collaboration of Tommie Sunshine and The Disco Fries along with the sexy vocals of Kid Sister may sound huge enough – but not if BOTNEK has anything to say about it. The Canadian Dim Mak duo have taken the anthemic chords of the original and have thrown their signature slimy synths into the mixture, creating a monster production guaranteed to scream across the festival circuit this year. Check it out below, and pick it up Feb 11th on Vicious Recordings!

The lovely LA-based female duo, Posso, have released their debut original production on Boiler House Records this morning exclusively via Beatport. “So High” incorporates sultry, Blues-like vocals with a thumping club beat — a true Big Room Electro grinder that has a soft side as well. Biggup to these ladies on their debut; we can’t wait to hear what’s next. Buy “So High” on Beatport.

With the start of a new year, we’re excited to watch the emergence of young producers on the rise. The LA grown Kevin Chapman aka FYOR (of former duo NO BODY) has hit the ground running in 2013 with a big room monster that sounds as nasty as its name. His track “Chupacabra” takes an anthemic ride into the bowels of sinister synths that grind over a massive bass kick. Expect to hear this one across the festival circuit this year.

Seems everyone is in the giving mood this month – our LA friend & familiar Hot Mouth has just given away Peacetreaty’s remix of the big room electro monster “Totally Worth It” on his soundcloud. The PT boys put a sinister twist on their version with piping stabs that slap both the electro and techno categories in the face. Tis the season?

Our GDD friend and familiar Ecto Cooler has just released a big room monster on Bazooka Records. His ‘Touch The Sky’ EP is a fusion of progressive and electro, carried by anthemic vocals from David Reed. Kindergarten Recordings is quickly turning into one of my favorite labels to watch. With past releases from Popeska and Tom Staar, Wolfgang Gartner’s team continues to find the best and the brightest rising talent around, and they made no exception with the young Charlie Darker. “Pacific” has an anthem feel to it with its melodic, yet punchy synth lines; and “Atlantic” starts with the same kind of vibes but is slightly darker and brings out some funky bass. Perhaps they reflect the different, yet similar, feel of the party scene on the opposing coasts? You tell me:

Brooklyn Fire label boss and GDD™ fav, Tommie Sunshine, is releasing a new EP titled Growth tomorrow via Scion A/V, and we get a jump on premiering the collaboration with Dutch duo, The Partysquad, from the release a day early. “Alright” is a multi-faceted production to say the least. From its downtempo Reggae introduction, the track slowly builds into a bouncy Big Room slammer while still incorporating an irie vibe throughout. All in all, a fun track. Stream above and check out the entire EP tomorrow over at Scion A/V.
