Curt Reynolds was raised on the sun-drenched beaches of San Diego and has been making an impact on the busy electronic music scene over the last year. With recent performances at Lollapalooza, Splash House, ME Cabo, Sound Nightclub and more, Curt Reynolds aka Ben Curtis, has had a sudden rise to recognition with a very promising future ahead. Now residing in LA, he brings funky, deep, and disco vibes that reflect his coastal upbringing and beach party mentality. You can find him sipping mezcal in the studio, smiling behind the decks and keeping people on their feet either poolside or late under the night shade.
It’s been a long time coming for Gotta Dance Dirty’s own Shae B, the featured vocalist behind Free Slice‘s recent rendition of Drake’s smash hit, “One Dance.” The trio crafts a unique twist to the current Billboard Hot 100 #1 with a little bit of Southern California funk and just the right amount of deep dance drive. Ripe for spicy Summer nights and cool enough for the day time heat, it’s hard to imagine a time you wouldn’t want these vibes around. So cop the free download and spread the love around!
If you like your Pop extra funky & your Disco done risqué, look no further because Sam Padrul has got the goods. His new single “Dirty Work” snags all the key elements from early 80s Funk/Disco + late 90s/early 2000s French House/French Pop & whips them into a modern Springtime masterpiece. Vocalist Patrick Baker’s ultra smooth style enhances the song’s suave, seductive feel. It’s playful Pop with a sexy twist.
“Dirty Work” is out soon on iTunes & other digital outlets.
Jamaican producer David Marston is set to release his beautiful new EP “Kindness of Bearer” and today we’re bringing you the EP’s emotional crowning point, “Sometimes It’s Hard”. The song is an affecting ride that bends, buckles & twists its way though your body, right into your heart. “Sometimes It’s Hard” dares to be different than most Downtempo/Deep Disco tracks with an arpeggiated synth & contorted sound that’s all wound together by the evocative lyrics & vocals of New York songstress Brigitte Zozula. A stunning close to a stunning EP.
The “Kindness of Bearer” EP by David Marston is out April 1st on the always fantastic Soul Clap Records.

The production duo and young lovers known as Parker + Barrow have emerged today after over a year locked away in the studio to premiere with us this alluring take on War’s classic tune “Low Rider.” Her refined, sultry vocals tiptoe barefoot over driving, sculpted production which fans of Hot Creations or simply dead-sexy house music are advised to get ahold of early. I’ve heard a lot from them in the past year and been in and out of the studio with them while they’ve prepared a staggering amount of music for coming releases, and I can say that this song is at most a tease of what’s to come, albeit a very decent one. The mellow punctuation found here along with vocals built to drift in and out of your subconscious through the day for me immediately delivered the invite to “take a little trip with me…”
Have you got yours?
Aptly described as “Motopony with a little stank on it,” Lonely Boy delivers a disco delight ripe for the summer season. Featuring Lonely Boy’s stimulating synths and one funked out bassline, he makes sure to leave room for the Motopony vocals to walk it out. Reminiscent of Modest Mouse on a spicy one, add this to your sunny day playlist and let the good times roll.
It’s playoff season in the NBA which can only mean one thing: Pat Lok is PLAYOFF READY. Just like Steph Curry, just like LeBron…Pat Lok elevates his (remix) game during playoff season (playoff season in this case meaning that special time of the year when Spring creeps into Summer & all the grooviest songs are produced). When taking on an Indie heavyweight like The Knocks, Pat Lok didn’t flail like Chris Paul or flop like Blake Griffin (can you tell I hate the Clippers?!?)…he calmly stepped back & hit the game winner. Check out his remix of “Classic” below & replay that game winning groove over & over…
