When we teamed up with ToneDen, Icon Collective, and iZotope to announce our remix competition for our talented friend Madeaux’s single “whatchawannado,” we weren’t expecting to receive over 400 submissions.
We’re excited to announce that we were able to pick three winners for the competition, with the grand prize winner winning iZotope’s BreakTweaker Expanded and an hour long mentor session from LA’s Icon Collective, while our two runners up receive $50 each.
The grand prize winner is…
The UK-based beat-smith Eyesz! With his slow-paced and relaxed recreation of the track offering up a fresh, euphoric edge, we were love at first listen.
Our two runners up include Intrusive Thoughts…
And Little White Bird.
It was difficult picking through all the winners, and we couldn’t be more excited to have teamed up with ToneDen, iZotope, and Icon Collective to offer such an awesome opportunity. Congratulations to all the winners and great job to all those who entered! We’ll have more remix competitions in the future so stay tuned to look out for those.
Thank you again to all who chose to participate!
We’ve teamed up with ToneDen, Icon Collective, and iZotope to reward producers who are down for an inventive challenge.
We’re asking you to create your best rendition of ‘whatchawannado’ by Madeaux. All genres are welcome, we just want to see you give the track your best creative twist.
Grand Prize (One Winner)
Runners Up (Two Winners)
All entries must be uploaded and successfully submitted by 11:59pm PST on July 24, 2014
