Our good friend’s from the up & coming DJ Duo Sex Panther have released the first episode in their new webisode series “On The Road”. The new series gives fans a inside look into what it is like to be a global trotting DJ. In the first episode they travel from Brazil to Las Vegas To San Francisco – all in a matter of a week.
It is really impressive how fast Sex Panther has risen to fame over the past year and I can’t wait to see where they go in 2013.
Be on the look out for a GDD x Sex Panther apparel collaboration to come out in the next month.
A few days after our interview with Guy Gerber, we shot back on over to West Hollywood to meet up Jence and Isi from Digitalism at their hotel on Sunset Boulevard, Luckily we caught them just near the end of their stay in Los Angeles, and just before their smashing appearance at The Central. We promised the start of GottaDanceDirty.tv in the Summer of 2012, and who are we to break a promise?! With a ton of stuff in the pipeline that we are very amped about, it’s time to start bringing you guys some of the stuff we’ve been cooking up over the past months. First we bring you an interview with Techno master Guy Gerber.
As some of you may or may not know, we’ve started up a new project here at GDD™, bringing in a video element to the brand called GDD.tv. Our team (big shout out to Alex, Laura D + KMOC) was hard at work out in Las Vegas a couple weeks ago; locking down interviews with some of the scene’s best musicians that were out in the desert for the biggest dance music festival in North America. Our brilliant videographer, Alexander Jacob, has put together a teaser video of some of the artists that we had the pleasure of chatting with, so have a quick watch and keep an eye out for the full interviews to surface in the near future!
It’s taken a few years for everything to fall into place, but 2012 will see the launch of the newest branch of Gotta Dance Dirty, GDD.tv. The extremely talented photographer/filmmaker, Alexander Jacob, will be working alongside the rest of the GDD™ team to create artistic, provoking video content that can’t be seen anywhere else in dance music media. The first project is a 3-part documentary series on Dirty Dutch‘s, BetaTraXx. Alex has put together a teaser for the series, including some of the debauchery from BetaTraXx’s last tour here in the US. Keep your eyes peeled for more on gottadancedirty.tv.
