Dirtybird is one of the best labels out there — hands down. It’s been a decade since Claude VonStroke, Worthy and the Martin Brothers started their BBQ parties up in San Francisco, and they’re celebrating 10 years in the best way possible: throwing eight parties on two continents in three months. Lineups in each city will differ, but CvS and Justin Martin will be on board for all eight. Underbill artists include Worthy, Eats Everything, Julio Bashmore, Catz N Dogz, French Fries, and way more.

We recently took a brief poll of what our fans on Facebook & Twitter thought was the “Track of the Year,” and we received overwhelming responses for “Levels” by Avicii. After an enormous year with productions as well as touring, Avicii is coming back to San Francisco for an encore after playing a couple dates at Ruby Skye back in September. On December 29th, he will be playing at The Warfield at two separate times (7:30pm and 11pm). However, the 11pm show is already sold out, but there are still tickets available for the 7:30pm slot! San Francisco, we recommend you act fast on tickets to catch an artist that is partially responsible for electronic music’s recent explosion in the US. Keep an eye on our Facebook on Friday for a ticket giveaway and see how Australia gets down with Avicii after the jump!

Good morning! It’s freezing outside and I’m very comfortable sipping my cup of coffee as I write this. I have a lot of great news today to get you informed for the weekend. The stories include the SnowGlobe Music Festival, how David Guetta does Ibiza, a Joker album review, a Seth Troxler interview, and the Red Bull Elektropedia Awards 2011.

The San Francisco based Chris Harnett & David Carvalho aka White Noize are back at it again with more pounding pounding… DISCO music? The veteran Dj duo have just released their next EP on DJ Dan’s InStereo Recordings called WEEKEND IN CALIFORNIA, featuring “Honey Love” and “Big Bright Lights.” WhiteNoize are known for digging up old disco classics and reviving them with club electro, fidget, and tech-house body parts. Their “big room disco” sounds have earned them top rankings on Beatport several times, not to mention the support of favorites Duck Sauce, DJ Dan, Donald Glaude, TJR, Stonebridge, Mustard Pimp, Treasure Fingers, and Umek (just to name a few.) These tracks are serious must haves for any DJs club sets, especially all you funky steppers out there. Check out the EP below, as well as the upcoming “Turn This Mutha Out” and a FREE download of their Cobra Starship Remix!
