Theo Keating AKA Fake Blood has been given the reins to the 69th episode of the legendary FABRICLIVE mix series, with the launch scheduled for this Friday at the killer London venue with sets from Fake Blood, Boy 8-Bit, and Paul Woolford. The mix CD will be released on the 20th and will feature a grip of new and exclusive material from Keating’s Blood Music. In a different promo twist, Fabric had Fake Blood take to the streets of East London to showcase another great ability of his, graffiti art. Have a look at the video above and watch out for FABRICLIVE 69.

Ever week over the summer Steve Lawler curates a night in Ibiza inspired by the 1979 cult classic, The Warriors, called “Viva Warriors”. Two weeks ago on March 2nd he brought this special night to London, in which I was able to attend.

Rising Canadian duo, Botnek, will be heading across the Atlantic this week for their 2nd European tour commencing this Friday, March 2nd at the famed Fabric London in Farringdon. The night features the Room One residency from UK wobblers, Jack Beats, and they have curated the full lineup for the other two rooms including B2B sets from Benga & Youngman as well as DJ Zinc & MC Script. Sounds like a pretty great night is in the works.

This Saturday night in London, Scandalism + MYLO are coming together for “Ecstacy, Passion, and Pain,” a night full of nu-and-old-disco at the legendary Scala nightclub in Kings Cross.  This extravaganza features performances from MYLOLindstrom, Aeroplane, Mighty Mouse, and the Parisian sensation Brodinski. With four rooms of music, this is sure to be one of the best events of the year.

This mix has something for everyone, Sneak’s meticulous track selection gives us a plethora of music styles from Chicago House gems to dark and popping techno. Curated by Lock n Load (the guys behind South-West Four), the festival has been split down the middle: Friday for Bass culture, and Saturday for house and electro.
