Jouhl‘s newest release, Cold Calling boasts a new monstrous original as well as three superb remixes. The EP’s title track is a straightforward deep house jam that’s as eerie as it is groovy. The brilliance of Cold Calling lies not in its well-constructed bassline or well-sampled vocals but in its subtle background synths and well-timed percussion. Make sure to grab this EP and check out The Mekanism‘s remix while you’re at it.

Falling is an extremely solid EP from start to finish, showcasing deep underlying grooves that are complimented by perfected percussion. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this EP and at the moment am really feeling Kolombo‘s remix of Falling.
