The 7-track EP is filled with originals and collaborations featuring some major players and influences from every genre. The Miami-based duo lived up to the title of their EP, breaking the barriers set that producers should be one-genre only. Released today as part of the EP, their single “Red Lips” starts out downtempo and hypnotic then segues back to their roots with a massive trap, bass-heavy drop. Available on iTunes, grab your copy of Death to Genres Vol.1 and check out “Red Lips” below!

Bearson is getting ready to have a huge year in the indie pop scene. The Next Wave front runner has been impressively taking the crossover dance world by storm over the past year. His latest release is an official remix of Tove Styrke’s “Ego” that displays his constantly evolving sound. With tasteful vocal chops and tripped out drum patterns, Bearson successfully reimagines Tove Styrke’s original mix. Sam Feldt has quickly become a front runner in the Spinnin system. After releasing a library full of music in 2014, Sam followed up with a massive USA tour with Thomas Jack and took America by storm. Another month, means another sick tune from this dude. His new track is a blend of tropical and deep house, showing his progression and ability to adapt to a genre that has become a bit over saturated. I was able to peep his performance here in Los Angles and this kid can really spin. Check out the new tune and stay tuned for its official release!

Kill Paris takes you on an imaginative journey with his new original “Space Forest”. If there was such a thing as a forest in space, it would sound exactly like this song. The first installment off his up-coming Galaxies For Us album, his latest is a wavy tune with distorted vocals, piano keys and trippy synths. Originally from Boulder, Kill Paris is one of the many hot new talents coming out of the Colorado area right now. Embodying his roots while keeping his sound fresh and unique, Kill Paris is on a clear cut path for success. Staying busy, the ultra-talented producer is kicking off a tour along with releasing an album. A departure from his usual sound, if “Space Forest” is any indication of what the rest of the album will be like we can hardly wait. Stream the track below and catch the rest of his album out on April 14th.

Electronic music is an ever changing atmosphere. In a constant loop of evolving genres and more and more producers surfacing every day, what was once an underground genre, now requires true musicianship to make it. A perfect example, up-and-coming brother duo, Sailors, had been producing a long time as a hobby, but decided to take a chance dropping everything to make it a career. And we’re glad they did. With a clear vision of what they wanted their music to portray, the duo’s sound transports you far away from reality. Their latest original, “Feels So Good”, lives up to the title. Catching your attention from the start, the track travels through piano keys, mesmerizing vocals and a variety of soothing instrumentals. Out on Casual Jams Records, stream the track below. Enjoy!
