Our friends over at Solé Bicycles just dropped off the latest installment of their fixtape series, and by golly we couldn’t wait to get our grubby paws on this one. It’s CLEARLY summer in Australia. Transient and euphoric, yet funky, the vibes will plop you down next to a pile of sand, a water source, and curve the corners of your mouth upward in this month’s fixtape. The Miami Horror boys, based out of Sydney, have really put something special together for us. We can’t stop listening, and we’re not sure if thats because we really like it, or because these tones are quite mesmerizing. Probably both. Most tracks are easy to listen to, yet provide just the right amount of funk in your step while the silky smooth vocals elevate the mind and body. Enjoy with a Cocktail. Do less, love more.
Treasure Fingers dropped off his amazing remix of Tatiana Owens‘s new track, Beautiful People, out earlier on T&A Records earlier today. It’s a quite bouncy disco-tech vibe with some amazing vocal work laced on top.
Turns out they extended their remix contest for the original track until January 14th, where the full Remix package EP, also featuring GDD bud, Them Jeans, will be released as well. Full Details HERE.
Our good buddy & hometown Orange County hero, Kedd Cook, just dropped off his newest single entitled ‘Don’t Talk, Listen‘ accompanied by a stellar winter mix. This kid crushes on the tables, knows how to throw quite the party, and we’re more stoked than ever that he’s starting to produce more. Flawless taste, some nice snares, and deep tones make this a truly special experience inside and out. Get lost in his curated oblivion of sounds.
Tracklisting after the jump
Our friend, Christian Karlsson of Miike Snow, and more importantly Galantis, just dropped off the brand new official video for the smashing single, ‘Smile’ produced by himself & Linus Eklow AKA Style of Eye. The video is clean in simplicity, yet suggestive, and builds in tension, matching the energy of the tune perfectly. We can’t wait to see where this project heads next, but we know it will be out of this world.
A new fixtape and quite a different vibe than that of what we’ve been expecting from the incredible series strung together by our friends at Solé Bicycle Co. Coming at you live from a sweaty, dark basement somewhere in the heart of Venice, CA, this one is sure to burn some nostalgia into your holidays. No one is doing it better than the Bixel Boys right now.
From Bixel themselves: “We wanted to make a tape that was less dance oriented and brought you back. Nostalgic vibes on this one. Enjoy.”

This month our friends at Solé Bicycles have partnered up with our pals over at Thump, the killer new electronic music and culture channel from VICE, to bring us a truly special fixtape. The godfather of funk, the french king of disco, the Ed Banger legend himself, Breakbot laid down close to 40 minutes of slow burning grooves. Although this tape is timeless, we highly urge you to throw it on now.
You can find the Download & Tracklisting HERE
[Giveaway] As an added bonus, a Solé bicycle designed by Breakbot himself will be given away through THUMP. Check out the contest details HERE for your chance to enter.
What happens when you take the silky smooth, sun-drenched vibes of Goldroom and put them in the hands of the Bixel Boys? Well, you end up with a sexy, big-booty, bass heavy version sure to make your grandma shake her rump. Both these acts of two of the hottest coming out of LA currently, and this is a testament to why. There is a free download in exchange for a ‘like’ below. Get amongst it.
It’s been hard to ignore the success of The Chainsmokers. They’ve been climbing the hypeM ladders, and seem to be showing up everywhere. Their production is as crispy as your grandma’s apple fritter, and as clean as noxzema. Their most recent remix of Icona Pop featured below, already has the support from the likes of Tiesto & Felix Cartel. Fill her up.
And if you missed it, make sure you check out this deep sexy mix of BANKS.
Mr. Billy Scher has embarked on a solo career to complement his budding future with his incredible psyche-rock band, American Royalty. He just dropped off his new tune ‘U.C.Me’ — extremely diverse in its musical genre with hints of Garage that I attribute to his move to Brooklyn about a year ago. If you’re in NY this thursday, be sure to swing by his CMJ Showcase at The Flat in Brooklyn for Doom Dab, the label he runs with Aha Raw. I’m sure it will be smashing good times.
There has truly been some magic coming out of HeavyRoc studios lately. Our friends, Follow Me, gave Equal’s new track ‘Lost In The Evening’ a deep & disco take that is quite infectious. To top that combo off, the vocals are from Gary Jules, the voice behind ‘Mad World’ in Donnie Darko. Quite the special tune and perfect for a cruise.
