After a huge response from the premiere of their single “Cold Nights” earlier this year, the Brooklyn-based duo Chordashian have been hard at work with forthcoming productions set to release from now into the new year. We have for you today their follow-up original entitled “Skyscraper Souls”, which takes the beautifully melodic vocals of Marie Seyrat from Freedom Fry and carries them along playfully deeper house chords all the way through. Fans of Tensnake and the French Express crew will be all over this one, so listen below and grab it for FREE!
Perfectly fitting for this Halloween season, the aussie duo known as Go Freek have just released the devilishly funky Bump In The Night EP on Sweat It Out! records. The production on this 4-track bundle portrays blog house nostalgia, with the slimey basslines and creepy synths getting an Australian techno overhaul. The title track is a staple in my sets right now, alongside support from the likes of Claude Von Stroke, Botnek, Tommie SunshineJustin and Christian Martin. Listen and below and grab these for your October festivities…

2013 has been a huge year for English alternative band, “Scanners.” This June marked the release of their long awaited third album, “Love is Symmetry” on Dim Mak Records. To follow up, 5 songs on the album have been chosen for 8 remixers to give their interpretation on Scanners. First off the Ep is Fei-Fei’s remix of the title track. She takes the song’s energy up a few notches with her invigorating, bass-heavy style. Next, Carpenter Brut’s electro spin does something similar on “Control” by including a heavy rock influence. T.W.I.N.S then takes “Mexico” and adds an indie dance vibe, resulting in a fun, playful beat. Then, “State of Wonder” gets a “hard bass” remix by Zeskulls. The intro keeps the good-feel vibes of the original tune, but then takes a quick turn as Zeskull’s signature wobbles takes the driving wheel. The 5th remix on the EP is another remix of “Control” by Boots N’ Pants. As you listen to this remix, let your mind and body get carried away with this relaxing, deep house groove. The energy picks up again with the second remix of “State of Wonder,” a pumping electro-house track tailored by Kevin Focus. Following next is a creative, beat-intensive, drum n’ bass remix by Aeronautica. Their expert sound design adds a unique touch to this remix of “Mexico.” Finally, the Remix Ep ends on a great note with Hiroshima Twinky’s take on “Control.,” a beautiful piece that is easy to fall in love with.
In anticipation for their EP release next Tuesday, October 8th – Prep School Recordings artist The Supertraxxe offer up “Revival pt. 2″ to the blogosphere. This one takes you through an experimental trip of funk that takes a turn for even the acid house inspired with its winding synths and rolling bassline. Fans of Ed Banger will understand its groove. Grab it below!

The Indoesian wonder Angger Dimas just released his debut full-length album Angger Management on Dim Mak Records, crossing the spectrum of electro, hip hop, big room, hardstyle, moombahton and more. To celebrate it’s widespread acclaim and to give back to the fans, Angger is giving away “Jump Floor”, a bonus track off the album (and in my opinion the biggest and most stand out on the entire release). This monster takes an anthemic buildup only to drop into a big surprise – fans of the main stage will be all over this one, grab it below!
