One of LA’s most promising dance music groups, gLAdiator, has brought us a stunning guest mix oozing with peak-time selections for the all-embracing trap-inclined listener. Recently, the duo has been enjoying some time on the road showcasing their mastery behind the decks, while releasing tracks like their latest remix of M.I.A.’s “Boyz,” which was featured on Jay-Z’s Life + Times blog. Catch gLAdiator live this Summer (tour dates on Facebook), and keep your eyes peeled for a new collaboration with Brazzabelle on a remix of TLC’s anthem, “No Scrubs,” to be released next Wednesday. In the meantime, be sure to have a listen to this guest mix and download it for safe keeping.
It’s time for the weekend – and what better way to kick it off with a special HARD edition of The Dirt, bringing you (15) tracks to pump all the way through. We welcome the HARD bossman Destructo to the selection, along with his #2, mister D BELL himself and our very own BONES. Some of these you can download (where you see the DL link given), but some you just have to listen and wait because they’re either too good to be FREE or their quite frankily not even out yet. All in all, gems abound. Dig in, my weekend warriors.

“The Foundation, is just that. It’s me going back to my roots of dub, hip hop and acid. It’s my modern take of decades of music I grew up with infused with electronic music (elements).”
This EP is seven tracks of big, brutal, gangster ass reggae vibes. Melding dub, reggae, acid, trap, electro and everything in between; David Heartbreak stretches his musical roots with an incredibly diverse and engaging sonic pallet. Perfectly suited for OWSLA, who just keeps supplying us with the goodies this week.
Couldn’t be more pleased to be teaming up with Phonat today to bring you The Dirt #116. We’ve got 11 tracks selected by us for you spanning from some absolutely prime funky chops selected in true Phonat style, to the strangest subversions of trap and some sick black acid bootlegs from me. That, his thoughts on the tracks, and a handy little zip, coming at you! Continue Reading
So proud of our mate and fellow LA resident Valentino Khan. After smashing a Diplo & Friends mix for BBC and the recent release of his production “Bubble Butt” ft. Bruno Mars, Tyga, and 2 Chainz for the forthcoming Major Lazer album, the young gun now prepares to serve as direct support for The Bloody Beetroots (live) spring tour. All amidst, he is kickstarting another weekly giveaway with a double download of his massive intro track “Luxe”, kept in secret for almost a year now. if you hadn’t of guessed it, he created a “Trap myself” version on top of it, which is equally as filthy. Jump on these 2 below, and check out the tour dates to go see him w/ the Beetroots!
In preparation for their forthcoming release on JFK (of MSTRKRFT)‘s Teenage Riot Recs next month, the SLO-native duo Tasty Treat is giving away their collab Cultivation EP w/ Nasty Nate to the fans to hold them over. Here’s what they had to say:
