Noir announces debut album

Noir will release his self-titled debut album on Monday, March 9th.

Danish producer René Kristensen exploded on the scene in 2011 with club hit “Around,” which has since clocked up more than 13 million hits on YouTube. It was around that time that he started work on the album, which pulls together 12 tracks of the Dane’s signature emotionally-charged sound. In addition to “Around,” the LP includes Hayze collaboration “Angel,” and current single “Black” (which you can stream below). Noir will come out on Kristensen’s own Noir Music imprint and will be available digitally and as a triple-pack LP.

01. Black feat. Caitlin
02. Around feat. Hayze
03. Let It Go feat. Caitlin
04. Real feat. Symbol
05. Found Out feat. Richard Davis
06. Time feat. HRRSN
07. Explode feat. Chris James
08. In A Vacuum feat. Richard Davis
09. My Fault feat. HRRSN
10. Angel feat. Hayze
11. Glass feat. Symbol
12. Out Of Control feat. Cari Golden

Noir Music will release Noir on March 9th, 2015.

Listen to Carl Craig and Matthew Dear’s six-hour B2B set

A live recording from last year’s Art Basel.

In December, Carl Craig and Matthew Dear descended on Miami’s Trade for a mammoth, six-hour back-to-back set. Thankfully, Dear uploaded the set to Soundcloud — stream it below.

Dear has been relatively quiet since the release of Beams in 2012, although he did release an Audion compilation back in 2013. Meanwhile, Craig has plans for a new album in 2016.

Kazantip Is Moving to Cambodia Next Month

This year’s Kazantip is taking place in Cambodia.

The Crimean festival, which had to move to Georgia last year due to political unrest, will set up camp on the Russian-owned Koh Puos Island, Sihanoukville from February 18 to 28.

Kazantip’s website reads: “It’s a unique opportunity for successful people to participate on the colonisation of the uninhabited Kazantip island to celebrate the Kazantip lifestyle, cross limits, dance all day/night and explore the pure beauty of the Kazantip island and its citizens.”

No artists have been announced yet but last year’s line-up included Ricardo Villalobos, Helena Hauff, The Martinez Brothers and Dixon.

Multipass tickets are available for £156 (€200) and can be purchased here.
