Eric Prydz and Jeremy Olander Go B2B For First Essential Mix of the Year

Following Eric Prydz’s Essential Mix of the Year in 2013, the Swedish legend has teamed up with fellow progressive house stalwart Jeremy Olander for a collaborative stint to kick off the world famous BBC Radio 1 mix series in 2015. Airing late last night, Prydz and Olander’s brand new two hour Essential Mix is just as enthralling as you’d expect. With both artists’ techno aliases in mind — Cirez D and Dhillon — the mix weaves through plenty of deeper and darker cuts while bringing countless new unreleased tracks to the table.

The collaboration between Eric and Jeremy for the new mix seems only fitting. In late 2014, Olander became the first artist other than Prydz to release on Pryda Recordings. Together, the two form a colossal team. As Prydz did for his 2013 edition, he once again solicited tracks from fans for inclusion in the Essential Mix.
