RÜFÜS DU SOL Announces 15 Stop North American Tour

Australian indie-house golden boys RÜFÜS DU SOL are headed out on a 15 stop North American Tour to showcase their jaw dropping melodic mastery. Armed with pure musicianship and knowledge of the live atmosphere, RÜFÜS is prepared to mystify North America with their emotion ridden and genre-defying show – hitting 15 cities and kicking off October 4.

RÜFÜS DU SOL have fully blossomed over the past 2 years, with 3 tracks included in Triple J’s Hottest 100, 2 Aria nominations for their #1 Gold debut ‘Atlas’ album and a slew of appearances around the globe including – Splendour in the Grass, Reading & Leeds Festivals, Berlin Festival as well as jam packed European and North American Tours. They have released 4 EP’s since their debut featuring remix support by Claptone, Motez, and many more industry leading producers.

The tour will be in support of the North American release of RUFUS’ already Australian gold album, ‘Atlas’, an epic display of their unique indie-house sound spanning from summery vibes to dark deep house gold. Keyboardist Jon George, vocalist/guitarist Tyrone Lindqvist and drummer James Hunt are prepared to take ‘Atlas’ on the road and bring it to life on stage for fans and critics alike.

Tour support will come from RÜFÜS’ Australian kin and world-class instrumentalists, Hermitude, whose knowledge of vintage electronics has yielded them the ears of countless international tastemakers as well as the Australian Music Prize and AIR Award for Best Electronic.

RÜFÜS’ North American Tour kicks off at Boston’s Great Scott and will hit Verboten, U-Street Music Hall in Washington D.C, Mezzanine, and Hollywood’s Fonda Theater.
