Alright, here you go. “Trainwreck 1979″, the sweltering new single from Death From Above 1979, is just the wake up call you’ve been waiting for. No Disco fluff. No Deep House snooze fest. And no Big Room bullshit. Just that trademark DFA 1979 sound, complete with heavy bass fuzz, pounding drums & howling vocals that your ears have been longing for lo these many years. The key missing ingredient for many current day rock bands is that they don’t know how to keep their edge when factoring in the dance element to their music. This has never been, nor will ever be the case for DFA 1979. “Trainwreck 1979″ is a another kick-you-in-the-crotch, spit-in-your-face Dance Punk classic.
(Wait, does this mean we can hold out hope for follow up albums from Mylo and The Avalanches, too?!?)
