Listen to a brand new track from new Fake Blood EP
Theo Keating is an artist who has been on the scene for nearly 10 years under many different guises. There’s the classic DJ Touche, his Black Ghosts collaboration and of course, most famously, his electro-inclined Fake Blood alias.
To kick off his 2014 campaign he’s created a devilishly unique three-track EP which will drop via his own Blood Music label on March 10. The ‘Waiting’ EP is what we’ve come to expect from Fake Blood with three wild, inventive and very diverse tracks being brought forward.
You can check out the first play of one of the tracks ‘Get Myself Together’ below and in Keating’s own words “the beat sets it up, and then warm chords widen the picture”. We agree, check it out below.

The clip for the title track off Magnus Høiberg’s new EP looks like every indie film trailer you’ve ever seen.
Hypercolour Preps New Maya Jane Coles Remix Package with Reworks from Bonobo, Kowton, and Dark Sky
Back in 2011, UK label Hypercolour issued Don’t Put Me in Your Box, a four-track EP from an up-and-coming producer named Maya Jane Coles. Since that time, Coles’ profile has exploded, as she’s become firmly entrenched in the top tiers of the international electronic circuit. Given that, it’s not a total surprise that the Hypercolour camp has elected to revisit some of her early work in the form of an all-star remix package. The three-track collection is simply called Don’t Put Me in Your Box (The Remixes) and will be released February 24 on vinyl; the digital release date has not yet been scheduled. Preview streams have not been made available, but the remix pack definitely includes efforts from Bonobo, Kowton, and Dark Sky. The EP artwork has been revealed, and can be seen below.
Phil Kieran to release next Hotflush EP with Ryan Elliot Remix
The next artist to release via Scuba’s Hotflush Recordings is the multi-talented and established producer Phil Kieran.
His debut release on the label will feature two original tracks called ‘Going There’ and ‘Getting Away’ and two remixes by Richy Ahmed and Ryan Elliott.
The EP is set to drop on February 24 and you can check out some snippets of the EP above.
