Julio Bashmore, Disclosure, and More Feature in New PMR Documentary

London-based label PMR has seen a rapid ascent over the past two years, releasing records from the likes of Disclosure (pictured above), Jessie Ware, and T. Williams; today, the label has shared a short documentary chronicling its showcase artists over the two weekends of this year’s Coachella festival. Directed by Dhillon Shukla in conjunction with Noisey, “Into the Valley” follows the label’s high-spirited crew as they travel to the desert heat of Indio, California, leading up to Coachella performances from Ware, Julio Bashmore, and Disclosure. The entirety of “Into the Valley” can be seen below.

Kerri Chandler mixes Watergate 15

watergate-15-kerri-chandler

Kerri Chandler has mixed the 15th chapter in Watergate‘s CD series.

Though he’s been in the game for more than three decades, Chandler has focused on more contemporary sounds in his mix, with a few older tracks thrown in. And instead of looking to his roots in New Jersey, he’s favoured European artists like Huxley, D’Julz, Shonky and Tom Demac. He also includes two of his own cuts—”Think Of Something” and the Jerome Sydenham-featuring “Mama”—made exclusively for the mix. Watergate 15 was recorded live, giving it a “certain raw energy you don’t get with many mixes,” according to a press release. Chandler’s next appearance at Watergate’s Berlin HQ will be on Saturday, November 23rd.
