[Mixtape] AC Slater’s 7-Year of Trouble & Bass DJ Mix

I remember hearing about the Trouble & Bass crew years ago when I was at college in southern Virgina, just starting to get into electronic music and captivated by their exotic heavy bass and dark gotham aesthetic. Now, years later, I am so happy to call all of them my friends and to celebrate their monumental 7th anniversary.

Drop The LimeStar Eyes and AC Slater have been straight hustlin’ the past 7 years and with so many amazing releases, the best fucking parties I’ve been to in Brooklyn and a Culture Clash win under their belt, it’s clear that this crew dominates crypts to clubs. To celebrate they’ll be hitting the west coast to perform this weekend and have shared this dope mix from AC Slater to get you ready to rave to the grave T&B style.

About the mix AC says: “I wanted to capture what was going on musically when I started running with the infamous Trouble & Bass crew in Brooklyn so I grabbed some tunes I was playing around the time I joined the crew. This is a pretty good glimpse of what you might have heard at a T&B event in NYC around 2008/2009.”

Catch the crew TONIGHT in San Francisco at Mighty and Sunday in Hollywood at Drai’s!!
