[Review] Kastle Live at 285 Kent

This month Kastle has been on his first ever live tour to support his recent album of the same name, out on Symbols a few weeks ago. I was so excited to see what he could bring to the live sphere that I just had to get in on the action at 285 Kent last friday! Check what I though after the jump!

Mixing up different elements off his album, Kastle’s set can only be described as a beautiful combination of sexy dub, future trap and sublime beats.

Combine the chill yet danceable vibes of his remix of Ellie Gouldings “My Blood,” and originals “Into The Night,” “Without You” ft. Austin Paul and “Things We Can Do” ft. Reva DeVito with the edgy, intimate art space of the 285 Kent warehouse and you have a completely fresh experience and the setting for some hot hot dancing. I was really surprised so many people kept their clothes on in the steamy room with such sexy vibes…

I highly recommend catching his show the next time he stops by you. Kastle’s album was fantastic and to hear it in a live setting, artfully triggered with a keyboard setup is otherworldly. This type of sublime, chill show was definitely something completely new to electronic music and I would go again in a heartbeat!
