[Review] Lee Foss at Verboten NY

After all the great things I heard about Lee Foss‘ sets at BPM, I just had to hit up Verboten last week to see what they had to offer. Catch the review after the jump!

As the owner and founder of Hot Creations and 1/4 of Hot Natured, there seems to be little that Lee Foss can’t do. And with his signature house and techno sound, I was looking forward to this show all week! Arriving just as Jozif was finishing up on the decks, I entered the Highline Ballroom to see a packed crowd of hipsters and fashion types.

Lee, himself wearing a rad multicolored tee more suited to sun-kissed California than the snowy NY, jumped on the decks with a flourish, starting the night strong with some deep sexy vibes that warmed things right up!

Choice tracks of the night had to be “Infinity” By Infinity Ink, “Critical Distance Pt.2″ By Tom Demac, “Every Inch (Deetron Remix)” by George FitzGerald, and Philip Bader’s remix of “23 Children” By Brian Benson & Michael Gull.

The vibe was tite, the grooves were deep, and it was impossible not to dance for his entire set. Verboten NY proved yet again that they’re curators of some of the best live music and have one of the best parties in town. Make sure to catch the line-up for their weekly parties and get in on the sexy underground action.
