The Dirt #79: Tre + Korbz

Tre +Korbz put together a playlist to help you in your wars  against sobriety and dehydration on this long 4th of July weekend . Tre’s tracks are full of deep, funky, and undeniably groovy vibes that will keep you going late into the night, while Korbz’s tracks are perfect for late mornings, dark sunglasses, and spiked coffee.

Grab The Dirt #79 after the jump!

Tre’s picks:

Gotsu Ongeslis – Oh Yah

Funky, deep and undeniably groovy, Gotsú OngeslisOh Yah is just an all round fun track.

Atem – Hanna

Atem is Sub Antix‘s (Keith Stewart’s) newest side project.  Atem’s tracks move away from the heavy dubstep style that Sub Antix has perfected and instead are melancholic, antique in sound, and piano driven with influences from artists like Jamie xx, Gang Colours, and Burial.

You can pick up his entire EP for free here [Grab it]

Chromatics – Into the Black (Ruined by Voxels)

No doubt a more vocal heavy, laid-back house remix that just gets it done.  This remix really accentuates Chromatics‘ remake of the Neil Young classic’s great vocal work.

Aldo Bender – I Can Make Us Rich!

Aldo Bender gives us a fast paced track with exceptional drum work.  It’s gives me an old-school Chemical Brothers vibe.

Tommy Trash – Unite Kids

Tommy Trash told his fans that he would give away a private bootleg if he reached 60,000 fans and he hit that number yesterday.  As a result, he released this banger for free download!

Korbz’s picks:

Future Disco – Future feelings – Drive SIMØNE Remix
SIMØNE keeps putting out great remixes that I constantly have on repeat. This track is futuristic and groovy, making it perfect for driving down South Beach in a red convertible.

Future Bass- Maths Time Joy – Closure
Maths Time Joy combines a great bass line with a futuristic synth, creating the perfect track to accompany any morning.

House – Frank B – Chain of Fools
This track has been circling around the internet ever since Jamie XX dropped it in one of his sets.

Bass House – Empire (Maribou State Remix)
Maribou State are becoming one of my favorite production duos.  This remix of the British group Alpines is emotional and deep, making the track perfect for a cloudy morning.

Disclosure – Booty Call Edit of Q-Tip’s Work It Out

This is an older one from Disclosure, but is a perfect remix of a hip hop classic. (This track  wins my award for favorite intro in a Disclosure track). Disclosure +  Q-Tip = Amazing
