Stanley Stevenson Byrne, aka Stan SB, is a teenage UK bassman that I hadn’t heard of until this morning when I stumbled upon this track, “Hunger.” In the track he keeps a balance of slow, emotive strings and swift, detailed drums reminiscent of Aphex Twin‘s “Flim.” Whether you’re just waking up or going to sleep, this tune should fit into a playlist for any time of day.
