Tiesto Confirms Pacha Residency
Well, it looks like the rumour mill was right. Tiësto is returning to Ibiza this summer for a Monday night residency at Pacha.
The residency will kick off on May 28 running through till late September.
The trance king is moving on from his longstanding residency at Privilege where he has played since 2008.

Electric Daisy NYC Lineup Includes Afrojack, Fatboy Slim, Avicii
You heard it here first: Insomniac and Pacha New York have joined forces to bring the traveling version of Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas to the tri-state area. EDC NYC will take place at Met Life Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ on May 19 & 20 and now Billboard can give you an early look at the lineup.
The lineup for the 2-day fest will include: Afrojack, Alesso, AN21 & Max Vangeli, Art Department, Avicii, Bassnectar, Calvin Harris, Chuckie, Danny Tenaglia, Erick Morillo, Fatboy Slim, John Digweed, R3HAB, Thomas Gold and Hot Natured (Jamie Jones & Lee Foss)
Flying Lotus Titles Next Album
On Monday, we pointed to an episode of “The Champs” podcast wherein Flying Lotus created a brand new track. In the second half of the segment, which was posted today, he mentions that his next album will be titled Until the Quiet Comes and released on Warp, “probably” in June. He said he’s hoping to finish it next week. (Thanks again to Alonso Alcantar for the tip.)
Hot Chip Get In Our Heads on New Album
Hot Chip are back with a new album, new tour, and a new label. On June 12 in the U.S. and June 11 in the UK, they’ll release In Our Heads on Domino, a departure from longtime home DFA/Astralwerks. The follow-up to 2010’s One Life Stand was produced by Hot Chip themselves with producer/engineer Mark Ralph.
The band will hit the road this summer, including a stop at the Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago.

Herve Preps Solo Debut Album
Entitled Pick Me Up, Sort Me Out, Calm Me Down,the album channels an electro sound that Harvey has consistently worked with under a variety of aliases. Perhaps most notably as The Count, he collaborated with Sinden to release the album Mega Mega Mega in 2010. Cheap Thrills has also tracked a similar path since Harvey launched it in 2007, putting out material from artists like Fake Blood and Jack Beats. Herve gives Pick Me Up, Sort Me Out, Calm Me Down a pop sensibility with his heavy use of vocals, which come from a range of guest artists, including Steve Mason, frontman for cult indie favorites The Beta Band, as well as electro-pop singer-songwriter Ronika.
