You asked for it, we got it. Track #7 off The Magician’s latest mixtape: “Can’t Stop” by ColeCo. First things first…let’s make sure you’re pronouncing their name correct: it’s pronounced Co-lee-co. For many listeners (myself included), “Can’t Stop” was the breakout tune on “Magic Tape Sixteen” by The Magician. And GDD™ is happy to bring you the tune in all of its seven and a half minute glory. “Can’t Stop” is a massive track destined for greatness. It’s a superior song that crosses genres and will work well in any environment; from a track on a magical disco mixtape to a double fist pumping festival anthem, this track has a little something for everyone.
ColeCo is the live Toronto nu-disco-punk duo Duncan Grewar and Sean Koch. The boys are fresh off a very successful first US show in NYC at the CMJ Music Marathon. Earlier this month they opened for The Weeknd at his London, Ontario show on October 2nd. And early next month ColeCo will be playing this show alongside The Magician and Jeremy Glenn in Toronto at Wrongbar. Be on the lookout for big things coming up from ColeCo including an EP + mini tour at the end of 2011.
