Under the guise of Black Devil Disco Club, Paris-based Bernard Fevre has been making electronic disco music for over 30 years. For the last few weeks I’ve been really impressed by his new album Circus, which infuses familiar indie and italo-disco sounds with darker stuff more reminiscent of Aphex Twin, and Kraftwerk. His new single ‘To Ardent’ with Nancy Sinatra will be out on May 23 via Lo Recordings, and will feature remixes from Horsemeat Disco, Vitamin Wig C, and former Hot Chip drummer Grovesnor. By way of a treat, it gives us great pleasure to premiere the forthcoming remix from Parisien duo Logo, signed to Kitsune:

Vitamin Wig C is the best artist on the mix. But the remix doesn’t do them total justice. Robbie Hansen (vitamin wig c) produces the most mind bending and enigmatic shit on the block…Check out Dawn Adults on BandCamp. Its like a movie that focuses back on a sense of setting…rather than razzle dazzle.
