Tamie Adaya’s latest venture, Crown Jewels, put on quite the little underground for Pigeonhole This! x Girls Music at The Well over the weekend. We ended up staying until dawn as GDD’s own Matt Black closed out the night; Doorly’s CD-J turntablism prowess was exhibited as normal, this time with the aid of a healthy Roland sampler; Toddla T rode out an aggressive UK wave of bouncy basslines and quick-to-the-cut edits; and we’re pretty sure we witnessed moombahton history as Dillon Francis, Dave Nada and Munchi triple tag teamed a relentless set together. Sounds dirty. The video speaks for itself, head over to Crown Jewel’s blog for the full photo gallery.
All my best,
