I saw my homies American Royalty play their first show ever a couple months back.  They opened for Miami Horror to a sold out crowd and absolutely crushed it.  I haven’t seen such an innovative live set nor as many chickas getting jiggy up on couches for a while! Since then, this LA-based 3 piece has been rockin titties off left and right all over the city, including the other weekend when they played our GDD Pre-Hard party at the Airliner.

Their live show is pretty damn nuts – 2 electric guitars, live drums, synths, samplers, ipads, computers – so I was definitely eager to hear what their first studio tracks were going to sound like.  Straight up, you need to just scroll down and listen; because 1 damn DJ with turntables is starting to get a little old.  The new hotness….

American Royalty’s EP, El Ardemo, comes out November 9th on Guns In The Sun Records, with a record release party happening the following Saturday the 13th at the Bootleg Theatre in Silverlake.  More info at Guns In the Sun
